Though lighting is so important for both the ambience and security of your home, porch lamps and lighting might also be the most overlooked maintenance area. Dirt, dead insects, and other debris can detract from their brilliance, shine and utility.

Cleaning process

Our cleaning process includes removal of the dust and debris that can build up on the bottom of the lamp. After the debris is removed, each piece of glass is cleaned and polished using the same polishing product that we use on chandeliers and mirrors. The result is a sparkling lamp that is sure to catch the eye of your visitors.

In some cases gas lamps emit fumes that will enter the pores of the glass and corrode the surface over time. You can spot this corrosion by a bright white glazed area at the top of your lamp. Also, you will notice an overall dull and dingy appearance of the glass and metal surfaces. When this corrosion takes place, we add a corrosion removal and sealing to our normal cleaning process.

Fan Cleaning

Each fan is carefully cleaned with specially designed fan cleaning equipment and brushes. All surfaces of each blade are wiped clean of dust and dirt residue along with the external surfaces of the motor housing. If there are light fixtures on the fan they are cleaned and polished as well as the bulbs. We would also be happy to replace burnt out bulbs if replacements are provided.
