However, that's not the case as hard water deposits will often sit in the pores of the glass just below the surface. Our Process
Our shower restoration process begins with a regular cleaning. This removes the surface dirt and grime, but also allows us to determine the level of corrosion removal that is needed. After the initial cleaning is done, we begin the corrosion removal process.
The corrosion removal process involves using a specialized solution that penetrates into the pores of the glass to dissolve and remove the hardwater buildup.
After the corrosion removal process is complete, the glass is recleaned and then dried. We then treat the glass with a sealing agent that fills in the pores of the glass and prevents hardwater deposits from causing subsurface stains. The sealant will generally last about three to six months and will then need to be reapplied.
